Our Philosophy of Birth

 We believe that birth is a natural process and a beautiful event. Birth is not an illness. We believe in freedom of choice based on knowledge. Women's birth experiences have a lasting effect on them, we believe in creating positive birth experiences. We believe in education as a means to fight fear. Knowledge is power. We believe that women should be treated with respect and kindness during birth. We trust women to make the right choices for themselves and their babies. We support women who choose to have unmedicated as well as medicated births. We believe that we are all different and there are many different ways to give birth. Women need loving, non-judgmental support during the birth process. When they have that kind of support, it can make a positive difference in their lives and the lives of their babies.
